Performance & Battery
How far can I ride on a single charge?
The range depends on several factors, including the rider's weight, terrain, wind resistance, and the level of Pedal Assist System (PAS) used. Generally, our bikes offer a range of 60km to 100km per charge under optimal conditions.
How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
A full charge typically takes between 4 to 6 hours using a standard wall outlet. We recommend using only the original charger provided with your ucebike to ensure battery longevity and safety.
Is the battery removable?
Yes. Our batteries are designed to be easily removable for convenient indoor charging and added security, while also being lockable to prevent theft when mounted on the frame.
Can I still ride the bike if the battery runs out?
Absolutely. Your ucebike functions just like a high-quality traditional bicycle. The multi-gear system allows you to pedal comfortably even without motor assistance.
Technical & Safety
Are ucebikes legal to ride on European roads?
Yes. All our standard models are fully compliant with the EN15194 European standard, featuring a 250W motor and a maximum assisted speed of 25km/h, making them 100% road-legal.
Can I ride my e-bike in the rain?
Our e-bikes are built with IP54/IP65 water-resistant components, meaning they can handle light rain and splashes. However, we recommend avoiding heavy downpours or submerging the bike in deep puddles to protect the electronic systems.
What is the maximum weight capacity?
Our frames are engineered for durability. Most models can support a total payload (rider + cargo) of up to 120kg to 150kg, depending on the specific model architecture.
How do hydraulic disc brakes differ from mechanical ones?
Hydraulic brakes provide superior stopping power with less finger effort and offer better modulation. This ensures maximum safety, especially when riding at higher speeds or in wet conditions
Shipping & Assembly
Does the bike come fully assembled?
To ensure safe shipping, our bikes arrive approximately 85% to 95% pre-assembled. You will typically only need to install the front wheel, handlebars, pedals, and seat. A comprehensive toolkit and manual are included.
What does "DDP Shipping" mean for my order?
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means that we handle all customs duties and VAT for shipments within the EU. The price you see at checkout is the final price—there are no hidden fees upon delivery.
How do I track my delivery?
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and a link to the carrier’s website to monitor your shipment in real-time.
Maintenance & Warranty
How often should I service my e-bike?
We recommend a basic safety check every 500km and a professional tune-up once a year. Regular maintenance of tire pressure, chain lubrication, and brake pad wear will significantly extend the life of your bike.
What is the warranty policy?
We provide a comprehensive warranty covering the frame, motor, and battery. Please refer to our detailed Warranty Policy page for specific durations and coverage terms for each component.
Where can I get spare parts?
We maintain a stock of original spare parts (including batteries, tires, and displays). You can order them directly through our website or by contacting our support team.
Do I need a special license or insurance to ride a ucebike?
Since our bikes follow the 250W/25km/h EU regulations, they are classified as regular bicycles. In most European countries, no special license or mandatory motor insurance is required, though we always recommend checking local municipal guidelines.
